    Our Tips

Re-use a well-made box as an organizing tool in drawers or even as gift boxes for special occasions. For instance, if you received a sturdy box with one of your recent purchases, wrap it up in beautiful wrapping paper.  Then place it in your drawer to use as an organizing tool for your jewelry or makeup.

  • Thanks to Marie Kondo – the Japanese organizing consultant and author, we all seem to have a greater appreciation for keeping our life and our things a little more organized.

As a Stager we see the true benefits and outstanding results of a home that has been de-cluttered.  Clients are often amazed and have a newfound inspiration from the work they have accomplished after a big organize!

Once a house is free of clutter, we as Stagers can take the home to the next level with proper space planning.  After we complete the final touches it’s important to keep it up. We find so many clients have fallen back in love with their home!

Here are a few secrets we like to share with our clients to keep the momentum going:

    • Try using clear bins so that you can see the items inside. This way you won’t run into the awful habit of ‘out of sight, out of mind’
    • If you are one who knows exactly where everything is and you don’t require a clear bin – opt for pretty boxes.   An eye pleasing box or bin will only bring you joy for your new found space.
    • Always have a quick look around before exiting a room – is there anything on the floor? Is there anything left on open surfaces that should be put away?   Tidy up a little every day and you’ll see how easy it is to stay on top of it all.
